Description

You draw a Trend-Following celeration by "following" the trends in the frequencies. Any time the trend changes, draw a new celeration line. A Trend-Following celeration, then, typically consists of several celeration lines.

A Trend-Following celeration may prove useful in identifying cycles or "periodicities" in the frequencies over a long period of time. A Trend-Following celeration may also suggest points where something happened to cause a new trend to appear.
